Jazz Lesson 21 Instructions
We are studying IIm7, V7, I's in lesson 20, and have used a
simple song "Jingle Bells", to show how they can be added
to all types of music. I have added a couple of them, but can
you find more measures to add IIm7, V7's?
I have played Jingle Bells in Blues Boogie, but thought it would
be fun to add a stride bass, which is the sequence of 10th's in
the left hand.
We have also been studying, jazz scales, so I added a Diminished Scale.
We have been studying Blues Scales and improv, so have added
some blues and improv ideas.
You can also see how we can add the V7 and Substitution Chords
to all music.
P.S. It is difficult to write out the exact rhythms that I am
playing, so listen to the MP3 also and that will help.
THIS IS JUST FOR FUN. Hope you enjoy it.
