I am a classically-trained jazz artist and have been teaching my methods to 100's of students all over the world. What makes me different?
I have had the good fortune to study with one of the best jazz teachers in the country, Bud Conway. He wouldn't take a student unless they were classically trained and had a background of music theory. A lot of the knowledge is passed down from other musicians and in his circle of influence was many of the great musicians, including George Shearing.

I was asked to pass down his work, and was only going to teach his method of learning jazz on this web site. BUT..........I realized that I
had been incorporating this knowledge and technique of learning even in beginning classes and it was such a success that I decided to start the web site with the beginning piano lessons. I felt that it's important that every student can learn piano and have the best lessons possible.
