A:  When do I receive the lessons after ordering?
You will be able to access your lessons immediately.  Go to the home page
and log in, and you see your lessons.  It's that easy.

A: I am an adult, and don't want to learn children's songs?
The lessons are designed for students to learn the piano, and are not based
on children's music.  Even young students learn better when they are treated with
respect.  This is one of the reasons I wrote my own lessons when I taught in a
studio.  I found that piano book courses were either written completely for
children or adults, but yet they were learning the same information.  The methods
used in Music and You, have been tested on students, and we are presenting
      lessons that ensure students progress.

A: How do the monthly lessons work on line?
Every month you will receive 4 new lessons.  Log on using the log on symbol on the
first page, left hand corner, and open up your lessons. There are 48 lessons in the
beginning and intermediate series, 4 lessons per month for 12 months.
Each lesson includes instructions about the lesson and what to practice and how to
practice.  Your lesson pages will include theory, practice sheets for new songs,
finger exercises, scales and other new material. Example, one week you will be
finishing a song, so will add a new exercise to your practice schedule.  The next
week you will continue with the finger exercise, have a new theory page, and start
a practice sheet for a new song.

A: What if I order the group of lessons?
The beginning lessons can be purchased in groups of 16 lessons.  This allows
students to access their lessons and work at their own speed.
Lessons 1-16, Group I, are available for 8 weeks
Group II and III  are available to you for 4 months, and again, we can always
allow you extra time if you contact us.

A.  How do I know where to start my lessons if I already play the piano?
Beginning Lessons:  If you know how to read music and count, go to the lessons
17-32.  If you have had the basic piano courses, but want to learn chords, also, go
to lessons 17-32.  If you have had previous lessons and want to review or
advance your previous skills, go to lessons 33-48.
If you have ordered a set of lessons and find they are too difficult or too easy
contact us and we will work with you until we find your level.
Intermediate Lessons:  You do not have to start with lesson 1, contact us with

A.  How do the monthly lessons work VS. the group lessons
If you order the monthly lessons, you will receive 4 new lessons per month and your
credit card will be charged every month on the same day of the month.
If you order a group of lessons, you will receive all 16 lessons in that group, at one
time.  You will not automatically receive the next group of lessons.  If you want to
continue you can order the next set of lessons on line.  Return to questions

A.  What is your guarantee on the lessons?
The lessons are guaranteed.  If you order lessons and want a refund, you will have
7 days to ask for a refund. The reason we ask for 7 days, is that we do not want
the lessons copied and used for other purposes, which can be done if we have a
longer refund time available.   Return to questions

A: I am a teacher. How will this system work with my students?
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you didn’t have to write scales chords and other information over and over, have pictures portraying piano and music concepts, and have arrangements designed for every level of music? Students like playing the new songs releases, I have always had to arrange them in different levels according to what the student is learning. What a lot of work! Teachers can contact me and let me know what the students want to play and arrangements will be made for different levels. Not only can they play their favorite songs, but I will write embellishments for them to play which enhances their level of learning. For example, adding scales, special fingering, pedaling, which prepares students for playing Classical Music, Jazz and Blues.
